1M Night
The Task
Let’s not talk about the ‘meeting & greeting’ part we had with the 1M team, as we don’t talk about the obvious. We jump straight to the interesting part. It all started with a tape recorder. Yes, kinda cool of us to come up with a complete brand strategy with just a silly little retro tape recorder.
We decided to start the event by using just the tape recorder which infused a sense of curiosity among the viewers, making them think ‘what’s all this about?’, leading to a bunch of profile visits in just a few days and then, at last, making the event announcement in the most trendy and mind-blowing way possible. Yes, you guessed it right!

The Bump
- A large-scale live concert in a super-conservative district like Kasaragod was the biggest challenge.
- Contents were to be made and curated super carefully, keeping in mind the acceptance level and minds of our audience.
- Bookings were mainly through BookMyShow (and offline). As the people of Kasaragod are not used to booking concert tickets through the app and as our target audience were people of all ages, we had to make sure people faced no difficulty in buying their tickets.
Behind The
Scene
A lot of head-scratching sessions, spouting useless ideas until we came up with something good (which turned out to be actually cool, no kidding), pre-production madness, post-production satisfaction, sleepless nights of editing and designing, moments we thought of how dumb we were and moments we were proud of ourselves, and yeah! That’s basically ‘our kinda’ behind-the-scenes; crazy and real.

The Outcome
- The news about the happening of the biggest concert in Kasaragod could reach millions in just a few days because of the well-curated and shot content that the audience could enjoy and interact with!
- A whopping 5000 people attended the live concert
- Received more bookings through BookMyShow than the ones sold offline, which is a major win from our side!
