The Task

Hive Honey Cakes in India had a clear objective, which was to grow its social media presence within a year.
This task was driven by the need to increase brand visibility, engage with a broader audience, and boost sales through a strong online presence.

The Task

  • It was absolutely essential to build a strong follower base for them in order to cement the brand in India.

  • We also had to make sure to bring in the right and genuine followers.

  • The focus was mainly on just a few products, making the content type limited to only a few.

  • The FMCG sector in India is highly competitive, with many established brands already dominating social media platforms.

The Plan

  • Initially, the plan was to welcome new followers to the page through ‘just follow’ campaigns where the users just had to follow and were not asked to reshare or comment.

  • To not lose track of the engagement, we decided to make multiple giveaways that were not similar in any way, but the gifts for the winners were a Hive Honey Cake.

  • We also decided to use some micro-influencers that were known in their localities to introduce the Hive Honey Cake into their areas, making the ‘Hive Honey Cake’ widespread

The Outcome

  • Successfully grew their social media followers from 0 to over 30,000, meeting their target.

  • Built a highly engaged community, with increased likes, shares, comments, and user-generated content.

  • Enhanced brand visibility and recognition across India and saw a significant increase in sales too!
