Oryx Village Kanhangad owned by Delvan group is one of Kasaragod districts Most prestigious and spacious restaurants. Well known for its hospitality , service, and food, oryx village is also a favourite location for families and celebrities.


We wanted to come up with a unique idea to gain more followers coming from small families. After enough brain storming and discussion we came up with an idea to conduct a contest activity. We anticipated that such an interactive contest may bring in followers to the page in large numbers.

Idea we came up with

We came up with an idea to conduct an interactive cooking video contest for Kids called ” Oryx Kuttichef Contest”. The reason of coming up with such an idea was to attract more and more parents and their relatives into the followers list.


We asked the people on social media to send short cooking videos of their kids to oryx insta inbox, later we posted every entry we recieved in our page. The winner of the contest was decided by the number of likes and shares for the video. This strategy helped us in gaining immense follower growth, reach and engagement, In short, the campaign was a huge success!


The campaign went viral and gained our client 500+ new followers,40+ emquiries, 104 % increase in engagement, 30K + reach, 320K+ impressions and 10k+ profile visits!
